Thanks for the feedback. Is this what you had in mind for the oars, Eliza?

Sorry to flood the topic but I feel it's best to put every step forward in case a change needs to be reverted down the line. Also in case something should happen whereby I can't finish. Not likely but it's better to get as full an image up here as possible. Here we have the pillar of smoke from the torch. Created through careful wafting of the blanket.

Flag: And a very special natural wonder. A floating flag with no hands to hold it:

Can't we use heads to represent the players?

I'm using sillhouettes at the moment. Will that do it?

Yes, that's better.

I liked your idea too Eliza so I figured I could do both. Ladies, my apologies in advance. This is not very flattering:

Kelly got a slightly more feminine body for her flag waving antics:

My own addition isn't very flattering. I don't quite carry the warrior gaze very well rowing in the raft: The buckets are there too, stocked to pour out water if needs be. So we still need Semhar on hand to fix the sign, and Mike to bang the pans together. Anything missing other than that?

WOW! This is absolutely amazing Coach. I know those Masai Warriors who taught you how to do such a piece of artwork would be proud of you.

Thanks Semhar, it's a secret traditional artform but I am lucky enough to have experienced it. I think I'm finally done. Let me know if I'm missing anything. Once more, here's the summary of the picture contents: Kelly is running across the beach waving a flag made out of an oar and a blanket. Semhar is tending to the stability of the sign, made from a tarp held down with nine rocks and written on with the squashed fruit dyes of mangoes and bananas. Mike is banging two pots together in the hopes that the sound may be heard by something passing. Me and Kim are aboard a life raft. I'm rowing with a single oar, keeping besides two buckets in case water has to be poured out of the raft. Can't risk the fire being put out. Kim is wafting the flames with a blanket. The actual fire is made from half a suitcase filled with sand in which a single pot has been embedded. We filled the pot with firewood and lit it using the matches. The smoke from the flames is rising and is thick because of the wafting blanket. The two of us can be on hand to relight the kindling if needed. Because the raft moves with me rowing, this leads to increased visibility. Two oars on the beach in front of the sign, just to draw additional attention. An "X" of sorts to mark our location. And finally, Eliza is standing watch over the whole project to ensure that everybody is in the right place and to field problems as and when they come. The image: I believe this uses everything we were given, and the ideas have come from a wealth of our team. Good work everybody. If this doesn't draw attention, I don't know what will.
