Spain shoudlnt have been world champions because they lost their very first game against Switserland (Who didnt even qualify for this euro cup) And Holland won every game in 2010 besides the finals and Spain won every game besides their VERY FIRST Game AGAINST Switserland. And Spain had an easy ride to the finals Cause they had Chile, Honduras, Parguay, Protugal and Germany to make it to the finals and Holland had Cameroon, Japan, Denmark, Slovakia, Brazil, Uruguay and then Holland won all of them and Spain cant even win against Switserland. So I think it was just pure luck that Spain ende dup winning the title! I know Germany is tough but Germany also lost big time to Italy this year!!! And Holland played very well agains Brazil!

You can't be serious dude. Spain did not win because of pure luck. Just look at the players and depth they have. One loss to Switzerland doesn't really mean anything.

In a tournamanet that big it does mean something!!! That game could have decided if they went home or not they were lucky they were in such an easy poule cause imagine if it wasnt Honduras and Chile and it was Brazil and South Korea or something then they might have not even made it Holland did play alot bette rin 2010, This year Spain did cause Holland sucked this year and Spain also deserved to win this year but in 2010 I thought they were just very lucky!!!!

But they have won the last 3 consecutive major trophies they have competed in. Something no one has done before. Every team has losses.

And plus Switserland didnt even make it this euro cup. So that is even worse from Spain. That they lost against a country that has only made it past the poule rounds like once or twice. And that hasnt been in the majority of world cups and european cups. I truly think thats prettty bad!!!
For a country like Spian, that is very bad!!

Well the loss didn't mean much considering they won the tournament. And I think it wouldn't be possible for them to have Brazil and South Korea because of the seedings.

Well its not good they lost, but every team has its losses. If you can find a single team that has NEVER had a loss to a lower ranked team ill buy you a cookie and give you a medal.

Yeah I know that, But they did play good this year, but I didnt think they played that good in 2010, and did you also notice that in the knockout phase in 2010 World cup that Spain won all of the games with a difference of only 1 goal each game. that even makes them more lucky cause Holland won against Denmark 2-0 And Spain couldnt even win that much against Paraguay!!!!

Well countries is what we are talking about but I doubt any major club has never lost to a lower ranked team. And Spain have an incredible defence and defence wins championships as the saying goes. Germany and Netherlands are complete proof of what happens if you rely on attack. Eventually you have an offday and you lose and in a World Cup, that can mean you are gone.
