This will be my confessional for the game. I haven't talked much to my fellow fans yet. So far I have been smiting Misty occassionally to try seperate her and Judd some more as I have heard they hate each other. In addition I have spoken to John quite some bit but mainly about football but I guess that is setting the ground work.
Kourtney just messaged me now so I think I need to step up my game a bit.

Kourtney is definitely my favourite right now. Followed by a tie with JT/Darrah. All three I like alot though!

Ill give a rundown of the people I have met/talked to so far. People with pictures I have talked too. People in the "rest of" category I have just heard things about. FansKourtney By far the person I have talked to the most. We talked for a very long time and I like her alot. I think it goes both ways too. I plan on proposing an alliance (and ultimately going to a F2) later on in the game, maybe just before the first challenge or after depending what I think of other people in the tribe. Most of the convo was personal stuff and not really game related but I think that's important to build a solid foundation and that's what I have been doing with everyone in these early stages. Just with her it is by far the biggest foundation so to speak. I kind of worry about how her (and others) are seemingly close to the Favs. I am not very keen on this mingling between the Fans and Favs but I guess I have to participate so I don't lose out. Hopefully there aren't too many pregame alliances/friendships which people have mentioned have occurred in past games. JT Had a good chat with JT where we were talking and just getting to know each other. He may have something going with Kourtney but it may just be that he likes her. Natalie T We had a PM convo. She was never on AIM too. I can tell that she doesn't talk to too many people and thats why our convo was via PM. She does seem like a cool person but if she isn't going to go on AIM she will struggle based on how active I think this game will be. Coach Coach was in character when speaking to me (such as when he was saying what his job was etc) although Kourtney told me with him he was not. Well that is kind of strange... I think he is kind of boring but if he plans on playing like Coach he could be quite useful. Wanda Wanda told me that she likes half the people (said JT and Kourtney) and doesn't like the other half (no names but implied Tarzan/people in character). She said she liked me and Kourtney also said she liked Wanda (although to be honest, Kourtney said she liked everyone) but I just don't really see much in Wanda. JT seems "close" with her after Wanda sang him a song and now Wanda owes me a song (that convo was on the verge of getting awkward when I said she can "sing" it to me later). The Rest of the FansTarzan I haven't managed to talk to yet but I have heard a fair few things. I can't see him staying around for long as a lot of people seemed to be annoyed by him. I see a potential opportunity in that however but guess I will see how much I am annoyed by him. Kelly S a few people haven't spoken to, myself included. Mary is apparently flirty. Darrah I have not heard mentioned once by anyway. Ace is apparently nice and I am interested to talk to him as he seems active. FavoritesJohn John I have talked to alot via PM. I plan on making him a very close ally for obvious reasons. I feel sorry for the kid but at the same time this is a game and flaws in someones "armor" should be taken advantage of. As I see it, if things go how I want with him, its a win-win situation. My problem will be him surviving long enough to get to a stage where we can help each other out. From what I have heard, many people don't like him and he could be the first gone. Kind of stupid as you can see he is clearly loyal but guess we will see how this one turns out. I should also point out he is a big football (soccer) fan so its good to talk to him about that so we have some common ground. Misty Don't really know how to describe Misty. I said Hi to her, about 30 mins later she says hi back. I then ask how she is going and she ignores me.... Ted Ted I had a little conversation with. First person to approach me from the Favorites. I think him and Bob Dawg might have something going on. He kept referring to Bob Dawg as drunk. I had a feeling they may be friends so I wanted to test if this was the case so I mentioned to him that Bob Dawg had not responded to one of my messages. Shortly after, Bob Dawg had (this was after an hour wait). May be a coincidence but I don't believe in coincidences. Seemed very willing to give information up about his tribe. Bob Dawg I talked to Bob Dawg quite a bit just about ORG's in general. He seemed like a really good guy and I can see him making it far. Considers himself a good player. He seemed to be against Judd but I think that was all for show. Eliza We had a little chat but it was nothing significant. Can't say much about her in all honesty. The Rest of the FavsJudd people seem to hate. Apparently he goes around insulting people (heard that from Ted/Bob Dawg). Mike is not just here. Someone described Sekou as "disappointing, Semhar I have heard nothing on and Phillip is the same. |

Overall I am feeling a lot more comfortable about my position in the game after the start of the day finding out I was quite far behind in the socializing aspect. I still have a bit of catchup to do but with two days to go, along with a strong bond with Kourtney, I feel I am on the right track to begin my reign.
It has surprised me how willing some people are giving up information and opinions which could be used against them/info they should not be giving away. I think it is their naivety rather than their cunningness - especially at this stage of the game.
Out of the people I have spoken to, can't say too many I would want to have an alliance with, especially from the Fans, but the Favs I quite like a few of them and you can clearly see some of them are good players. But of course in his game is it not about who you want to work with but who you need to work with and it is down to me to work to get the people I need on my side.
