Following the broadcast of the advertisement of an all new survivor season, audiences were in uproar as the transmission was interrupted with a haunting SOS message. The creators of the show spent some time assuring the viewers that it was an in studio prank by a member of the production team who has since been fired.
In 2010, tragedy struck when a cast departing for a season of survivor in Costa Rica disappeared without a trace. Nobody returned. The crew, cast members and host were all lost forever.
As audiences watched the broadcast that night, family members of the departed were sickened at the nature of such a disgusting prank, making light of the tragedy two years ago. But there are still those who are not convinced...
From the host of the now critically acclaimed Labyrinth series comes an all new life and death adventure. 18 contestants are about to fly to an exotic island in Oceania to play in the series that sparked the controversy.
They came to play survivor. If they want to leave, they'll have to do just that.

Come on in guys!
This is an all new game idea by yours truly. It's something I've had the genesis of spinning in my head for a while but playing in this season of Sausage inspired me to combine it with Survivor style. My original idea was to change the format of the game unexpectedly, halfway through. But I figure that as exciting as some may find this, it will annoy others and I want to maintain a good reputation as a host.
Combining elements of my Labyrinth series with elements of Survivor, this will be a completely original ORG. I can't stress enough that this won't be a survivor game, though some of the challenges and game elements may take on a similar form. Overall this will be an RPG, but hopefully a fairly interesting one.
I don't want it to drag too long so unlike my Labyrinth series, the game will have a set duration and a cap of just 18 players. Initial estimates suggest the game will take around a month and a half to conclude. Players won't need to be anymore active than they would in a typical Survivor game.
There will be a social game of sorts. Unlike Labyrinth, which restricts all forms of external communication, external communication will be permitted at times. If it isn't, I'll inform the players. Unfortunately there's no good way to monitor this and ensure people don't cheat so I'll try and work it into the game that it's never too damaging. I still ask people to respect the in game rules at all time, as and when they come up.
There will also be PWs or spectators who will discuss the game as it unfolds. The PWs will be equally as clueless to the ongoing developments in the game, which will be very mysterious. They will however, get to witness all of the game as it unfolds.
The game enforces anonymity or alias. If you want people to know your identity out of the game, I can't stop you but it is a lot more fun to stay in character due to the RPG nature of the game.
The rules and the objectives of the game will vary from player to player, and will be updated as the game progresses. The proposed objective you will get may change regularly throughout the course of the game. I strive to always make a balanced and fair game though, and hopefully players of my Labyrinth series will support this view.
The game is new and experimental. I have no idea if it'll work or not but I'm willing to try new things and I have a lot of ideas for this. There will be an all-star selection at the end of the game, based on mostly how much I enjoyed a player's performance and confessional posts.
If you're interested, you can PM me on here or drop me a message on AIM. My regular AIM ID is "paulus2r". I will be dropping the Coach one after this game is over. The game is in the early stages of development so there isn't much I can answer yet but I'll try my best.
If you want to apply to play, send me an application in private. The game enforces you to play a character, but unlike Survivor games the character creation process is entirely at your disposal. Be anybody you want to be. But bear in mind you have a better chance at being cast if you pick an interesting character. I will take a number of factors into consideration. If you don't get cast don't worry, you can still PW and have a chance of playing in any future seasons of the game I host. I think this, like Labyrinth can probably go places.
Though I swore I would never run a game without a co-host again, I am hosting this solo. Let's hope it doesn't kill me.
Here is the application to fill out if you want to play. I'll be basing the selection process largely on this, so think about your responses.
Character Name: The name of your created character
Avatar: Hit google images and find me a picture of who you're playing.
(Most characters will be considered but non-human characters and so on will probably be rejected there and then. If I like your application but not your character, I'll ask you to change it)
Gameplay style: Are you a friendly social kind of player who wants to be buddies with all the cast or are you a deranged sociopath who wants to slaughter everything that moves?
Best game: Link me to an example of the game, which in your opinion, you played best in.
What interests you about this game: I want to know why you are applying to this game, which aspect of the introduction excites you the most?
Activity Level: How much can you give to this game in terms of activity? Typically I ask for the same as you'd give a survivor season.
Luxury Item: You're going to a deadly jungle and you can take just one real world item to get you by. What is that?
That should about cover it. Answer those questions in PM and I'll get back to you about your placement closer to the start date. It will be mid-October 2012, all going well.
Thanks for reading and good luck if you want to play.

loool....do i see germany's most famous "wanna bet" moderator (retired) THOMAS GOTTSCHALK there? how'd you stumble upon him?! (: Haha. I knew you'd comment on that, or at least thought there was a chance. I needed a game show host who wouldn't be familiar with many players and stumbled across the guy who had the best look for what I wanted, who was only famous in Germany. So why not? I figured you'd be the only person who would make the connection.
